Are you in the early days of your founder journey? In need of valuable advice? Web Summit Rio’s Startup Sessions are a great place to start.

Startup Sessions offer the founders of emerging tech companies and social impact startups advice for facing the modern business environment. These online business webinars are designed to help you pick up key skills and knowledge to set you up for success.

These Startup Sessions will take place on our event web app in the run-up to Web Summit Rio.

The small business webinars will run for 45 minutes, and will be hosted by tech industry leaders. Each host will speak on a pre-selected topic and facilitate an interactive attendee discussion for 30 minutes. There will also be 15 minutes reserved at the end for a Q&A.

Who can attend Startup Sessions?

All successful applicants to the Web Summit Rio startup program, and all startup ticket holders, can attend the online Startup Sessions. There’s no limit to how many people can attend these startup webinars, and attendees can join as many sessions as they like.

A week before each class, startup founders will get a link from their startup manager to register for the upcoming session. This can be shared with other valid ticket holders.

You can access the web app by entering your ticket reference number and following the prompts.

What are the benefits?

  • Founders can get advice about funding, scaling, hiring and other important decisions from experts who’ve been there and experienced it all before.
  • Networking and discussion are a big part of these sessions. Emerging founders can meet like-minded entrepreneurs from their industry and make vital connections.
  • Access to these online webinars in the lead-up to Web Summit 2022 is free with your startups ticket, and founders can access these sessions from anywhere in the world.

What are the session topics?

Here’s a look at the topics planned for the Web Summit Rio Startup Sessions:
